I had a routine OB appointment this morning. Well, I had one after I called to make sure it was today, and they told me that my appointment had actually been the 20th and that I had been a no show.
...huh? My appointment card said the 28th. Granted, it said Monday the 28th, and I forgot to call last week to find out when my appointment really was, since yesterday was the 27th. Since nobody called me and told me I'd skipped an appointment, I just assumed I was right on time. They were able to squeeze me in at 9:30, though.
So far everything still looking good. I have to go in next time at 28 weeks to do the lovely glucose screen.

For the record, HSN and QVC carry some of the gaudiest, ugliest jewelry I have ever seen. Not saying it's all bad, they do have some nice things, but a lot of it is...ugh. They might benefit from that saying, "Keep It Simple, Stupid." The goal is not how many diamond chips can you possibly fit on an earring or a bracelet.
Wow...I guess I'm not feeling very nice today.

Don't feel bad, I'm an epic FAIL today. I totally forgot my son had a dental appointment this morning. This, after a reminder call earlier in the week and having it on my calendar. Ugh.

That happened to me before, CJay. And I agree with Jennifer. Don't feel bad...it isn't your fault they wrote the wrong day on your appointment card. And what..no courtesy call to remind you of your appointment? I say FAIL to the doctor's office! Major FAIL! :)
